ROTARY E-MAIL GUIDELINES

1 Install and regularly update Norton AntiVirus or similar software.
2 Do not open attachment without examining file name.
3 Be suspicious of an email from a stranger.
4 Use 'Rotary' in the subject line with a brief description of contents.
5 Use a signature block which includes sender's name and designation.
6 Do not presume delivery was successful unless recipent acknowledges.
7 E-groups should not be used for propagating spam, jokes, hoaxes etc.
8 Do not publish e-mail lists that may be available to the public.
9 Avoid using e-mail attachments if possible. Instead copy and paste information on to the body.
10 Brevity in e-mail messages is encouraged.
